Recognition of Prior Learning
Recognition of Prior Learning may be considered for applicants with relevant previous qualifications, professional training, work experience, or certificated learning.
This may support admission or, in some cases, allow applicants to be considered for exemption or advanced standing. Approval is not automatic and is subject to academic review, programme requirements, and institutional regulations.
Requirements vary depending on the programme level
LEVEL 3 DIPLOMA PROGRAMMES
Applicants are normally expected to develops essential business knowledge and workplace competence through applied learning, practical assignments, and real-world business scenarios.
LEVEL 4 DIPLOMA PROGRAMMES
Applicants are normally expected to have completed secondary education or an equivalent qualification. Applicants with relevant work experience, prior learning, or professional exposure may also be considered, subject to academic review.
LEVEL 5 ADVANCED DIPLOMA PROGRAMMES
Applicants are normally expected to hold a Level 4 Diploma or an equivalent qualification. Applicants with relevant professional qualifications, work experience, or prior learning in a related field may also be considered.
POSTGRADUATE DIPLOMA PROGRAMMES
Applicants are normally expected to hold a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification. Applicants with relevant professional qualifications and work experience may also be considered.
ADVANCED OR RESEARCH-BASED PROGRAMMES
Applicants are normally expected to hold a Master’s Degree, Level 7 postgraduate qualification, or equivalent professional qualification with relevant professional, managerial, or leadership experience.
Mature applicants who do not meet the standard academic entry requirements may be considered based on relevant work experience, professional achievements, and prior learning. All admission decisions are subject to academic review and approval.
